Also, your maps SHOULD be located here

C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Application Data\Tibia\Automap

just replace USER NAME with yours ofcourse!

**THESE ARE SERIOUSLY OUTDATED! and only have like half of svargrond and large black portions of mainland (although not really an issue)
if you want the latest ones lots of members have contributed, (im not saying there safe, but chance of a keylogger in map files is like low i guess)

Found it finally.

For other vista users who can't mind the path, go to your username, than allow hidden files to be shown. Than go to AppData -> Roaming -> Tibia -> Automaps.

yes it does. im using webbers just b/c I trust him more, and they all work fine. the only big spot that isnt filled in is the swamps north west of venore, which I dont think is a big problem :p

when you extract these files into AutoMap folder, it will extract the folder as well. I recommend dragging and dropping the files themselves into the folder versus extracting

As I mentioned the ~100 or so maps I deleted are unnecessary maps. They are simply black space on the outside of the maps for expansion.


Also those who have been playing for about 6 yrs or so remember when tibia updated all their maps and came out with that map patch? Well all those maps started with 000.

if you only take the maps started with 12XXXXX it still has complete tibia covered.

Uninstall tibia and reinstall it, sometimes there is a problem... But this should work, when you uninstall it, but the maps in the map folder and than install it.

I got some .map files form 2007 and every time Tibia used them the client debugged, so check the dates :)

There is a promoted tibia website that has 1700+ maps, including the new zao areas.

What do you mean? Does it appear as black?
If so the solution is very simple. Logout from tibia and close client. Go to the folder where the maps are stored and delete the folder Automap. The just copy the tibiabr's automap to there.
Try it and report here.
