Possible solutions for errors 429 or 339 (Windows Vista / Windows 7)

SOLUTION 1:
1. download "Blackd Proxy Alternative Installer - Zipped MSI file"
2. unzip it
3. run Blackd Proxy.msi to install it.
4. after installation just run blackd proxy (Do NOT run as admin)

SOLUTION 2:
if you have UAC mode ENABLED
1. download "Blackd Proxy Installer - Complete installation" from http://www.blackdtools.com/freedownloads.php
2. right click over it and choose "run as admin" (or something like that depending your language) This should install everything.
3. after installation, just run blackd proxy (this time you should just run it. Do NOT run it as admin.)

SOLUTION 3:
if you have UAC mode DISABLED
(if solution 2 doesn't work)

1. Download and save in windows\system32\ ...
dx7vb.dll (http://www.blackdtools.net/directdownload123/dx7vb.dll)
MSWINSCK.OCX (http://www.blackdtools.net/directdownload123/MSWINSCK.OCX)
msflxgrd.ocx (http://www.blackdtools.net/directdownload123/msflxgrd.ocx)
(you can click in the 3 names above to download them directly from my host, or just download them from any other web if you feel more safe that way)

2. search and execute CMD.EXE as administrator. A black window will popup. There you should type:
regsvr32 /s mswinsck.ocx
regsvr32 /s dx7vb.dll
regsvr32 /u /s msflxgrd.ocx
regsvr32 /u /s mswinsck.ocx
regsvr32 /u /s dx7vb.dll
regsvr32 dx7vb.dll

(might be redudant, but for me it somehow it worked after executing exactly all that in that order)

SUCESFULLY TESTED BOTH SOLUTIONS MYSELF, USING VISTA ULTIMATE 32 bits



SOLUTION 4:
... MORE OR LESS THE SAME THAN #3 ... BUT WORTH TRYING IF #2 DIDNT WORKED FOR YOU

1. Download and save in windows\system32\ ...

MSWINSCK.OCX
msflxgrd.ocx

and saved them

SOLUTION 5:
if you have windows 7 then go to user options in control panel and drop the security level to minimum. Then all required dlls and ocxs should register at installation without problems

- Avoid to install Blackd Proxy in strange locations. The default installation path should be fine ( C:\program files\blackd tools\blackd proxy ) You can also use C:\blackdproxy or anything else, but please AVOID desktop, my documents, temp, windows, or such special/protected folders.

- UAC mode should be ON

Try to reboot your pc after doing these registries, was nescessary for my pc to get it working.

If vista gives an error when you register dx7vb.dll then I got the solution.

I had the same misstake aswell, which gave me an error in solution 2 but you had to do as follow.


-Make a shortcut from cmd.exe
-run cmd.exe as admin
-then register the file dx7vb.dll

Then it should work. hope blackd can edit his post.

I didnt had those problems, but my blackd didnt detect my characters, so i erase it, download it again and still didnt worked, the i made your first solution, and didnt worked and then tried the second one (never did something that weird before) then i executed blackd, and a msg appeared and said something about error 339, and couldnt continue running the program, then i tried clicking in blackd "run as admin" and finally it worked, now it detects my chars ty blackd, i dont care if i have to run it as admin all times.

Well, Daniel, it's just to turn off UAC, reboot and HEY! It's ALIVE!

It's not that hard... Just go on your control panel, search for uac, and click "Ok", reboot your computer and Blackd works all fine!

I got Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bits, and Blackd wouldn't work when I had UAC turned on, but when I turned it off and rebooted my PC, then it worked!

some people get a error to register some dlls, but this dlls (dx7...) are for a 32bit system, i searching i couldnt find this old's "dll's" in 64bit version.
so... i dont think it will work on vista 64.

solution for windows 7 - 64 bit.... try copying all 3 files ( the 2 ocx + the 1 dll files) into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Blackd Tools\Blackd Proxy" with the bot itself. after i tried this, it loads up just fine.

I got the same loading problem but my blackd crashes often and says error code 89, so can u describe that loading problem more so i can fix it and help me with error code 89 thx:)
