Hey guys,
i have yust edited a pic i loaded from the net to set it as a guild avatar.
Now sadly tibia.com tells me it is too big.
I don't want to upload it, as my char is in a projekt and i would like to keep it secret.
It's current format is jpg.
Do you have any advice for me what i could do about it ?
/Benny
i doubt you can save it in any format more compact than jpeg that tibia.com will accept...your best bet would be resizing it lol
resize it, change format to gif (really a jpeg/jpg but just change the file end .jpg to .gif)
Dude, just open it up with mspaint and then save it again as Jpg. Quality will suck but size will me smaaaaaall! :P

No no no. Just open it with Photoshop and use the "save for web" funnction. You can specify multiple qualities. Depending on that, the KB will reduce. This is the optimal solution of quality/KB

Okay this seems to be the most effective methode.
It got from 66kb to 35 kb.
Thanks to you fry.
the other methode worked as well but not that effective and it looked less good.
thanks to everyone anyways :)

You can open with MSPaint and resize it a bit smaller, it will lower some kbs

I think you don't even need to use the "save for web" option, it's enough to use "save as..." and you'll be able to do the same, with a shortcut ctrl+shift+s :)
