Whenever I play World of Warcraft, my fans kick on and after a while my computer shuts down. I never had a problem with this before. It just started happening about 3 weeks ago and progressively gotten worse. There is no other weird sounds. I also installed a new graphics card about a year ago if that matters. Here are my computer specs. I also keep my computer pretty cool. Now my graphics card requires a power supply of 300w but mine is a 250w. Would that 50w really make a big deal?

might have to look into getting some new fans or a cooling system, clean your dirty computer out and see if it stops

I was thinking it might be my power supply. I've cleaned the dust out once this week already. I'll do it again. I also keep my computer pretty cold.

Why are you using 27% of your cpu if you are not running *anything*?

you should change to a 64 bits system...it's a memory addressing issue that all windows 32 bits have

Thats right after start up, so idk but aim and msn automatically load up which might lead to that.

No way msn and aim would kill so many resources xD

Farsa's got a point tho, you will do much better with a 64 bit OS

I cant really pinpoint the issue but I would suggest getting a new PSU I mean they are pretty cheap and it never really hurts to get what your rated for because think of it this way not only is your Graphic requiring more then what you got already but your mobo is draining some from the card too..

To get some more info on your heating situation use this link to download speccy.
Play some wow.
Load up Speccy after that and then post a ss.

Speccy Direct Download link (http://fs13.filehippo.com/2602/8ac51bcfd0f64766b8cab7bbae913c35/spsetup107.exe)

An Example of what I need.

Also be sure to upgrade your drivers.

Yea i know my heats running high but comps been under load for about 8 hours Encoding video.....

I'm looking into new cooling systems now :P

BTW for all the people that are going to say I have shitty ram it's rated at 1600 But its my OS restricting it.

Im thinking about getting seven BUT I LOVE XP :'X

As it didn't happen before it's most likely that dust is causing this
