cs not working

i installed cs on a new pc, with windows7 ,2,7ghz processor and 3gigs ram ( i guess its enough for cs since it doesnt need lots of resources...

but everytime i wanna open it this appears:

i tried running in windows xp sp3 compatibily mode, running as admin, none worked :s...

any ideas?

PD: the image stays like that forever, wont start up the game, and im sure the problem isnt the game itself, cause im running it on my other pc...

Have to much childporn on the computer? might have to do with that..

Try This:
1.Check if you have the latest graphic drivers
2.Check what graphic engine you have enabled on cs. (software,opengl etc)
3.Reinstall CS or just simply remove the counter-strike map from you steamapps folder.
4.If none worked.. www.google.com or www.steampowered.com and use the support (they answer pretty quick)

1) how do i check if i have latest graphic drivers?

Depends what graphic card u have but mostly windows 7 always has the new drivers so try run a windows update and see what comes up ;)

And what engine enabled is in the userconfig i think if im not wrong which are in the counter-strike folder

If you can't realy install grafic drivers wich one point a computeruser must do sometime, I guess Cs is not the game for you. May I ask how can you install Window 7 and not install graficdriver?

For Nvidia goto Nvidia HomePage
For ATI/amd goto their homepage

Or try Driver Magician if that is to complicated, cuz without any graficdriver U can not play cs.

Im running Window 7 x64, and have not expirence any problem with cs what so ever.

where should i download the drivers?
