Hello Id like to start learning myself programming language, and how to actually program. Ive read abit about this and downloaded a compiler, c ++
Id like to know which programming language is the best for me as a beginner?

How does people actually know what "codes" they should use? Is there like a lexikon or something where I can see all codes and their meaning?

Cause It feels like I don't know anything, I went through some tutorials. And I understand abit of it but what I don't get, how am I supposed to know the codes when I'm a beginner?

Where did you start to program, what site did you use? and which programming language did you use?

Please let me know.

Thank you,
Golddigger.

a book is always one of your best friends; about the language, depends of the stuff u want to do, tell me if u have anyone in especific and i'll try yo hook up with some good material!

Id like to try build some games, and Id also like to try making my own program, a good program not just a simple one, I know I will have to start making easy stuff ofcourse, but later on Id like to make advanced stuff.

Thanks.

yeah i got this same problem, sorta :(

i've read through MANY programming ebooks and know all the basics and all ifs, loops, arrays and that shit. When i open up the IDE and try to code something (even when i had clear idea what i want to do) i dunno what to write there. It's like i dont know the keywords.. just like in e.g. HTML you just gotta memorize the tagnames, does it work the same way in programming languages?
