yes, it should be Visual Basic 6.0 , not any other version.

And I recommend installing the compiler in Windows XP for an easy installation. Then install VB6 service pack 6

I love scripting languages like PHP, JavaScript because one can quickly develop code by cut-paste & trying. Maybe that's just my style.
