Paladin problem

Sorry if this sounds really dumb, but I've searched and searched but can not find an answer.

So here goes.

How to get the Cavebot set to a distance between u and the monster?
So that my paladin won't get hurt, it needs to be around 3 tiles.

Is there a way in Blackd's Cave bot?
