View Full Version : Waypoints overpower attack/target

I've been having problems where the cavebot will target and try to go kill the monster, but then the waypoint next overpowers it and it runs around in circles for a few seconds. This is also becoming a problem when botting in narrow caves because it will try to go to the next waypoint even though the target is right in front of it. It's a problem because instead of attacking it will look for an alternate path and more are lured and time is wasted by having to kill them all. It works eventually but it would be nice to see this annoying problem fixed.

It also worries me sometimes because I'm not sure what all sends packets, but when the waypoints and targetting are in conflict it makes me wonder.

edit: my exp just dropped by 15k exp/hr because of it.

Good explaination of the problem. I've tried a few times over the past 2 years.

Daniel is unlikely to fix it though :/

mmm Does he look in this section? I've posted a few things that worry me and this is my first response on any of the threads.

How far apart are your waypoints? I've found making scripts with waypoints acting as "mapclicks" (1 screen or less apart) can help limit the amout of time you spend running around the creature aimlessly. Also I use follow and auto rechase in client.
